Our Canon C100 Camera Rig
July 29th 2014
We are always looking to invest in new equipment so that we can produce the highest quality work for our clients. Recently we have purchased a set of Sigma prime lens so we can ensure our videos are nice and sharp (in focus), a Canon C100 and a camera jib so we can incorporate more dynamic shots in your videos.
Canon C100 rig –built with the following components –
Canon C100 – this is a fantastic camera when coupled with an Atomos field recorder as it is much more user friendly than a DSLR and the quality of the footage is far superior.
Tilta Shoulder rig – this eanables us to use the camera on or off a tripod as it gives a very sturdy base for the camera and accessories to attach too. It also includes a matte box and follow focus.
Atomos Ninja 2 field recorder (this enables us to film in the Quicktime ProRes 422 format which is great for editing with and for colour correction/grading
Cineroid EVF-4C (electronic view finder) – this enables us to work easily outside on bright days during shoots for things like music festivals, team building etc.
Sigma Prime lenses
Kessler Pocket Jib Traveler
This piece of equipment is great for reaching angles that we previously difficult, time consuming or expensive to reach. Because a jib allows vertical and horizontal movement you can shoot high and low angles as well as virtually any diagonal movement. They are great for a whole host of shots and below is our latest video that we used it in.
