Brief: To produce an energetic, fast paced event highlights video of Campaign’s flagship event Media360 at The Grand in our home town of Brighton.

we find ourselves attending quite a few events throughout the year. They can range from live music acts right through to conferences, seminars, exhibitions and staff parties. This is the second year that we have worked with the team at Campaign to produce a highlights video of their two day event Media360. Each year they host the event at The Grand hotel in Brighton and it’s aimed at the biggest media agencies and media buyers so the highlights film needed to reflect that quality. This year we grew the production by including drone filming and hyperlapse photography because both of these techniques add visual interest and a lot of pace.
As the event ran over two days there were quite a few different locations within the hotel and in the vicinity. The bulk of the event played out in the main hall which we filmed with a camera minted on a gimbal and a second handheld camera, this combination allowed us to capture a range of different shots that incorporated movement to help add pace and further interest. There were also breakout rooms and networking in the bar and restaurant and entertainment in the evening, all of which gave a different feel to the final video and helps to keep the viewers attention. One of the highlights of the event was the drinks reception in the i360. For this we produced a hyperlaspe sequences to be used a bridge between two sections and the i360 gave a great backdrop to more networking. To help tell the narrative of the event we filmed a series of vox-pops in front of a media wall, these featured organisers and delegates and created the base of the film.
