The Top Five Questions We Get Asked at Echo Video
November 19th 2014
Here at Echo Video, we aim to turn your idea into something with a strong visual appeal that is easy to understand.
We often get asked questions about what we do and how we do it. We like questions – they’re strong buying signals. Once people start thinking about how their video would work on a website or a DVD, they’re starting to visualise the end product, so the questions we get asked are a good indication that the customer is ready to buy. In your business you may notice this, too. Anyway, we digress.
The top five questions are:
How much will it cost me? Isn’t that rather a lot?
OK, good quality video production services are not cheap and cheerful. Experienced filmmakers don’t just film stuff and email it to you. We put together a story, a script and a concept before we even pick up a camera. Video for business needs a strong objective and a powerful narrative. Done right, it will be very very effective.
You may consider using actors, a trained professional or a voice-over artist. You’ll need to think about hiring a venue or a location, perhaps. The video will then be edited to exacting standards in our editing suite.
So, sorry to sound a bit vague but the answer is: it depends. With video production, you always get what you pay for but we’ll always deliver within your budget.
My cousin’s mate’s got a good video camera, so…
Sigh. Further to our answer above, really. Yes, you will save lots of money in theory. The slightly tarnished, lower quality result could damage your reputation and that’s hard to define in cold, hard cash.
Suffice to say that anything that looks a bit cheap defines your services at the budget end of the market. And, you’re quite expensive…aren’t you?
What Kind of Style Will My Video Be Made In?
A good question. There are quite a few “styles” in the world of video, such as:
The answer to this question will depend on who you are trying to reach, your desired end result and your budget. Us chaps at Echo Video know what works and what doesn’t, so fret ye not. We’ll work closely with you to produce a piece that makes a real difference.
What’s the Deal with Copyright?
There isn’t one. Anything that we create becomes your intellectual property upon delivery. We aim to transform your ideas and objectives into reality in video form. All you need to do is get your video out there, so what you do with it is of course, up to you.
Are You Brothers?
No. We’re good friends, though. We both wear glasses. We both have beards. Move on :-)
